My parents generously offered to buy me a backpack for my travels, so I took a trip to REI and purchased an Osprey travel backpack. This beauty is currently holding everything I’ll be using for the next month!

The backpack has a very cool design, where it’s really two bags in one. A smaller daypack zips off of the main bag for a lot of versatility. I can even use the daypack as my personal item and bring the rest of the bag onto the plane as a carry-on!

I’ll leave for JFK late tonight for my 1:45am flight. After 15 hours of flying, I’ll have a brief layover in Guangzhou (near Hong Kong) before heading on to Bangkok, where I’ll land at around 11am local time. Then the adventure truly begins!
